Vernon van fire sends one to hospital
VERNON – A passenger was sent to hospital due to smoke inhalation following a vehicle fire this afternoon.
Vernon Fire Rescue responded to 32 Avenue and 20A Street just before 2 p.m. today, June 23, where they found a van on fire.
A passenger suffered smoke inhalation and B.C. Ambulance Services then transferred the patient to hospital in Vernon for further treatment.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
