RICHMOND, B.C. – RCMP say two people have died after a daylight shooting in Richmond, B.C.
The Mounties say in a news release that police responded to a report of shots fired late Saturday morning.
The release says the two people were found dead with gunshot wounds.
It says the shooting does not appear to be random, however the release does not identify the victims or say if police have a suspect.
RCMP say an area around the 7000-block of Ackroyd Road will be cordoned off for “a significant amount of time.”
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team will work with the local detachment on the investigation.
