
Duncan Keith, Kyle Turris guest-coaches at BCHL’s top prospects game in Penticton
Retired NHL veterans Duncan Keith and Kyle Turris will be the coaches of the 2023 BCHL Top Prospects Game in Penticton on Friday.
Keith will be joined by Penticton Vees coach Fred Harbinson on the bench for Team East, while Turris will lead Team West along with the head coach from the Nanaimo Clippers.
After playing in Penticton and with the Kelowna Rockets in his junior years, Keith went on to play 17 seasons in the NHL. He won three Stanley Cups with the Chicago Blackhawks, and two Olympic gold medals on Team Canada.

The highest a BCHL player has ever been selected in an NHL entry draft was Turris, who was picked at third overall in 2007. He played 16 seasons in the NHL.
Both Keith and Turris finished their NHL careers last season as Edmonton Oilers.
The BCHL Top Prospects Game starts at 6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 20, at the South Okanagan Events Centre. Tickets can be purchased here.
