Piece of the road to Silver Star getting upgrade

VERNON – City of Vernon crews are ripping up a section of Silver Star Road meaning delays for drivers.

A detour is in place for the paving project between Duncan Road and Foothills Drive, according to a city hall media release.

Drivers can use the north end of Star Road to get to Foothills Drive.

Flaggers are directing traffic in the area.

The overlay project is expected to take two weeks.
