iN PHOTOS: Full Moon peaks through cloudy skies in Kamloops, Okanagan

Cloudy skies did not deter photographers in the Thompson-Okanagan region from braving the chilly weather and capturing the full Moon last night, Feb. 5.

The so-called Snow Moon is the second full Moon of the year named for the snowy time of year it appears.

"It was really a point and shoot with an iPhone 13 and everything happened to be just right," Kamloops resident Angela Stenning said. "I stood on the back bumper of my truck after closing our gate."

The next full Moon for sky watchers to get ready for is called the Worm Moon and appears on March 7, the last full moon of winter.
