Serious crash impacting traffic in Kelowna

A serious car crash at Gordon Drive and Harvey Avenue in Kelowna is impacting traffic.

While an investigation is underway, the westbound lanes from Burtch Road to Ethel Street are closed, according to an RCMP media release, as well as the northbound lanes from Laurier Avenue to Leon Avenue. Harvey Avenue’s eastbound lanes will remain open.

RCMP say it is a serious crash but haven't released any information about injuries.

“Please avoid this area during this time and expect congestion in and around this intersection,” RCMP say in the release.

Witnesses are asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 and reference file number 2023-8978.
