Snowfall warning expands to South Thompson
Kamloops and the South Thompson have been added to a snowfall warning that is currently in effect.
The warning was issued by Environment Canada yesterday, Feb. 19 for the North Thompson, where 10 to 15 centimetres of snow is expected between now and this afternoon. The South Thompson was added to the weather alert this morning.
“The snow has begun and will change to rain this afternoon as the freezing level increases,” the warning says.
“Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult.”
