CIS Football: Hastings throws five touchdowns, Marauders get past Gee-Gees

HAMILTON – Asher Hastings threw five touchdown passes as the McMaster Marauders got past the Ottawa Gee-Gees 57-42 on Saturday in Canadian Interuniversity Sport football action.

Hastings finished the day 24 of 35 passing for 373 yards for No. 7 McMaster (2-0).

Dan Vandervoort caught a pair of touchdowns for the Marauders.

Derek Wendel completed 24-of-46 passes for 301 yards, three touchdowns and an interception for Ottawa (1-1).
