Lotto Max ticket worth $55 million sold in B.C.

Someone in B.C. is $55 million richer after matching all seven winning Lotto Max numbers.

The winning ticket on last night's, Feb. 28, Lotto Max draw was purchased in North Saanich, according to a B.C. Lottery Corporation media release.

It was the only ticket purchased in Canada that matched all seven winning numbers: 1, 3, 8, 24, 35, 42, and 43.

It's also the first Lotto Max jackpot win this year from a ticket purchased in B.C.

The odds of winning a Lotto Max jackpot are 1 in 33,294,800 per $5 play.
