KAMLOOPS – A stranded boater reportedly swam to shore to call for help after being caught in last night's storm.
Kamloops Rural RCMP responded to a call just after 6 p.m. Sunday night after a boat reportedly suffered engine problems in the sudden storm that hit the city last night.
While one person reportedly swam to shore, two others remained in the boat before the police responded to the call.
The stranded boaters were taken to shore at the nearby Tobiano Marina. No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.
