Many attendees enjoying camping at the weekend-long festival.

“It’s a place where music lovers of all ages and backgrounds express themselves,” the website says. “It’s a festival where kids dance and play while parents and grandparents reconnect with old friends and swap stories of performances from the past three decades. ROOTSandBLUES is more than a community, it’s a family. And our family is growing.”

This year’s festival takes place Aug. 18 to 20 at the Salmon Arm Fairground. Tickets can be purchased here.
