‘Resident Evil’ stuntwoman injured in motorcycle accident during filming outside Johannesburg

JOHANNESBURG – A stuntwoman who was working on the next movie in the “Resident Evil” series is being treated for multiple injuries following a motorcycle accident during a stunt sequence near Johannesburg.

Constantin Film said in a statement on Friday that Olivia Jackson was injured in her face, head, shoulder and left hand and arm in the Sept. 5 accident. The film production and distribution company, which is based in Munich, Germany, says Jackson is in stable condition.

Jackson had been performing for “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter,” an action film starring Milla Jovovich.

She also performed stunts for the movies “Mad Max: Fury Road” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
