Donation page set up for international student attacked at Kelowna bus stop

A Gofundme has been set up for the victim of a group attack attack at a bus stop in Kelowna.

Gagandeep Singh was teased on a bus and then attacked when he got off on the evening of March 17.

The Gofundme page says his chest, mouth, arms and legs were injured.

Singh is an international student who is now unable to work, and despite having a strong support system, he will still need help getting by.

“With your support, we can help ensure that during Gagandeep's road to recovery, he doesn't need to worry about where the money will come from to pay for physio, food, rent or even to have his parents fly to Kelowna from India to see him,” according to the Gofundme.

Nearly $1,800 had been donated by the time of publication.
