Transgender Day of Visibility turned violent in Vancouver

There were violent confrontations at a rally to celebrate the International Transgender Day of Visibility in Vancouver and now the police are investigating.

Yesterday, April 1, 75 to 100 people were at Grandview Park, according to a media release from the Vancouver Police Department. Among them were counter-protesters who were confronted by rally-goers and at least two people were assaulted.

Investigators have launched a full investigation and are hoping to speak with more witnesses.
