Looking for a forever home; Vernon SPCA pet of the week

This handsome fellow is Chili.

Chili came to the Vernon Branch of the B.C. SPCA all the way from Alberta in hopes to find his forever home.

He is a high energy boy looking for an active family to go hiking and adventuring. Chili's favorite thing in life is his tennis ball and does make a request his forever family stock up for him.

Chili knows lots of basic commands such as sit, shake a paw and lay down. He will however pull when walking on leash and will need some guidance when it comes to leash manners.

Chili's previous home had said he gets along well with cats and he was good with children, but because of Chili's size he would need a home with older children.

He has been okay with most other dogs but does require a slow and controlled introduction.

If you are looking for an active dog like Chili inquire with a staff member at the Vernon SPCA.

Chili's Animal ID number is 404489.

Visit the Vernon and District Branch webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees, and hours of operation.
