Altercation in downtown Salmon Arm

SALMON ARM – An altercation occured in downtown Salmon Arm Friday, July 8, Sgt. Scott West says in a release.

The altercation occurred on Lakeshore Drive in downtown Salmon Arm between two people who police say likely know each other.

They were restrained by witnesses who also called 9-1-1.

When police arrived they were uncooperative. One was checked by ambulance crew and released.

The media release did not include information on the condition of the second individual, the genders, ages or time of day the incident happened.
