Canadian pop-punk band Billy Talent coming to Okanagan

Billy Talent and Gob are playing the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton this fall.

Their show is booked for on Oct. 13, according to a media release.

Both bands formed in 1993 and then broke through in the early 2000s, albeit Billy Talent formerly called themselves Pezz. Billy Talent’s breakthrough single was Try Honesty and Gob’s big hit was I Hear You Calling. Aging gamers may remember hearing Gob songs while playing NHL 2002 or NFL 2003.

Billy Talent's latest album, A Crisis in Faith, was released in 2022. Over the years they've won seven Junos and have been nominated 20 times.

Tickets go on sale June 2 and will be priced at $50.50 and $65.50 plus fees. They can be purchased online through ValleyFirstTix.com or at the box office.
