Body found in rural Kelowna
A dead body was found in Kelowna yesterday.
Kelowna RCMP responded to a report of a deceased male near McCulloch Road at Myra Forest Service Road shortly before 8 a.m. yesterday, June 4, according to an RCMP media release.
The rural location was attended by several officers who closed the area off to the public to initiate the investigation.
The scene has since been released, RCMP said, however the investigation is ongoing.
Kelowna RCMP are working with the B.C. Coroners Service to gather more information, and police say there is no concern for public safety.
