Missing Vancouver Island man may be in Kamloops

RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find a missing Vancouver Island man who may be in Kamloops.

Matthew Mueller of Lake Cowichan was last seen, May 30, but was in phone contact with his family the following day.

Police say he may be in the Kamloops area.

It’s out of character for Mueller to not have contact with his family for long and police are concerned he may need medical attention.

RCMP describe Mueller as a 39-year-old Caucasian male a slim build, 6’6” tall, 190 lb. with short, dark blonde hair and blue eye. He as a gargoyle sleeve tattoo on his right arm.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Lake Cowichan RCMP at 250-749-6668, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
