
Wildfire reported in West Kelowna
The Kelowna Fire Department is responding to a wildfire up Bear Lake Main Road.
The call came in at 1:10 p.m., according to a release from the Kelowna Fire Department.
Multiple callers reported that it was burning approximately 3.5 kilometres up Bear Lake Main Road.
"At this time B.C. Wildfire is on route with one helicopter and ground crews," the release says.
The fire department thanks the members of the public who called the fire in.
