Scotch Creek Forest Service Road temporarily closed

VERNON – The public is advised that the Scotch Creek Forest Service Road will be temporarily closed at the nine-kilometre mark from Monday, July 18 to Friday July 22, 2016, to allow for road upgrades.

The upgrades are necessary to ensure the safety of travellers on the road.

The Pukeashun Trail, north of the closure, will still be accessible from the east on Seymour Main-Celista Creek Forest Service Road and from the west on Adams East Forest Service Road.

The Scotch Creek Forest Service Road is located on the north side of Shuswap Lake near the village of Scotch Creek. This road is part of B.C.'s 55,000-kilometre Forest Service road network that provides access to British Columbia's backcountry.
