PENTICTON – The City of Penticton has begun its capital works program for the summer, with this summer’s focus on road re-surfacing, water main replacement and parking lot development.
City Communications Officer Tina Lee says Grizzly Excavating has been awarded the contract for the work, which began with parking lot development on Vernon Avenue on July 11.
The sixteen projects on this year’s capital works list also include:
Lee says their may be some inconvenience to residents in the neighbourhoods where roadwork is taking place. Residents are asked to drive carefully through construction zones and pay attention to signage and traffic control personnel.
