Something fishy about Penticton break-ins at seafood store
PENTICTON – A Penticton seafood store has been targetted by thieves for a second time in less than two months.
Penticton RCMP are investigating a break-in earlier this week at Buy the Sea Seafood on Main Street. The break and enter happened overnight on Monday, July 18.
A rock was thrown through the front window of the retailer and thieves made off with fish and lobster, RCMP say.
The same seafood specialty store was broken into on May 30. Police said the store’s front glass doors were smashed and a box of snow crab was taken from a freezer near the door.
No money was reported stolen in either incident.
