Leonel Garcia tops Latin Grammy Awards nominees with 6 bids, Natalia Lafourcade follows with 5

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Singer-songwriter Leonel Garcia leads nominees for the Latin Grammy Awards with six bids, followed by pop star Natalia Lafourcade with five. Juan Luis Guerra and Alejandro Sanz each received four nominations, while Ricky Martin and Miguel Bose are among the entertainers with three nods.

The Latin Recording Academy announced nominations for its 16th annual awards Wednesday in Miami. Winners are set to be announced Nov. 19 at a Las Vegas ceremony that will be broadcast live on Univision.
