Stanley Cup coming to West Kelowna

WEST KELOWNA – Hockey fans will get the chance to get up close and personal with the Stanley Cup and Pittsburgh Penguin Justin Schultz.

Schultz is planning to bring Lord Stanley's mug for a hometown visit on July 28, according to a City of West Kelowna media release. Schultz grew up playing for the West Kelowna Warriors and West Kelowna minor hockey.

The public is invited to view the cup, get Schultz’s autograph and enjoy some refreshments.

The visit will be held Thursday, July 28 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Royal LePage Place.

There will be opportunities to have your photo taken with the Stanley Cup, but the public is encouraged to plan for group pictures, as there may not be enough time for individual photos.
