Sunshine expected to return this week in Kamloops, Okanagan

There’s a good chance of showers today in Kamloops and the Okanagan but skies should clear by Thursday and sunshine should dominate into the weekend.

The Environment Canada forecast shows a 60% chance of showers today, Oct 10, in Kamloops and the Okanagan with a risk of thunderstorms this morning with a high temperature of 15 Celsius.

Showers could continue overnight and it's forecast to be mainly cloudy tomorrow before it clears for sunshine Thursday through Saturday.

High temperatures are expected to only reach 16 C all week with overnight lows of 4 to 6 C.

The only variation in the forecast is for Penticton where the 60% chance of showers continues into Wednesday morning before the clouds clear off.
