Police continue to investigate suspected meth lab
VERNON – The suspects arrested in last Friday’s drug bust have been released without charges while police continue to investigate the suspected meth lab.
RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk says members of the Vernon detachment alongside the clandestine lab team scoured a home in the 1700 block of 41 Avenue and found items consistent with cooking meth.
Police won’t say how they found out about the suspected lab, or what quantities it was producing.
The suspected drug lab was set up in a backyard shed.
Two men and a woman were in the house at the time and were arrested. They have since been released with no charges.
Police continue to look into the case, though Molendyk says the investigation could take some time to wrap up.
Molendyk says one of the individuals is known to police.
