Cartoon series ‘Doc McStuffins’ welcomes first lady Michelle Obama, in animated form

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – First lady Michelle Obama is paying a visit to the children’s animated series “Doc McStuffins.”

In the episode, the cartoon Mrs. Obama invites Doc and other kids who are making a difference in their communities to the White House to be honoured.

Doc receives special recognition when the first lady appoints her the official toy doctor for the White House.

Disney Junior’s “Doc McStuffins” is about a 6-year-old girl who talks to her stuffed animals and toys and treats what ails them.

The episode featuring Mrs. Obama airs Monday, Oct. 5, which is Child Health Day in the United States.
