Straight into Penticton: Ice Cube makes Okanagan tour stop

Iconic hip hop artist Ice Cube is bringing his Canadian tour to Penticton.

On Feb. 21, the award-winning artist will perform at the South Okanagan Events Centre for his Straight into Canada tour, according to a news release.

Ice Cube is best known for his role in the rap group N.W.A., helping to write songs like "Straight Outta Compton" in the 1980s.

He left the group to start a solo career, and he's now touring for his tenth solo record but first in eight years Everthang's Corrupt.

"Everythang's Corrupt continues Ice Cube’s legacy as one of the most politically outspoken rappers of all time, proving that the power of his voice and vision is stronger than ever," the news release reads.

Tickets go on sale on Nov. 10, starting at $59.50. More information can be found on the Valley First Tickets website here.
