Kamloops cops investigating cause of multiple vehicle crash

Police say there were serious injuries after a collision involving several vehicles in Kamloops this afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to McGill Road and University Drive at around 3 p.m. today, Nov. 29, where police blocked road access around the collision.

Kamloops RCMP said the extent of injuries from the collision aren't yet known, and police haven't said whether there have been any fatalities.

It's also not clear how many vehicles are involved in the collision.

The detachment's traffic unit has taken over the investigation, and it's asked that anyone with information about the collision reach out to RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-42279.
