RCMP ask for help to find missing elderly Coldstream man

North Okanagan RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 83-year-old Coldstream man.

Robert Lee Baines was last seen at his home on Ponderosa Way in Coldstream early in the morning Tuesday, Jan. 2, according to an RCMP media release.

Police say he was recently diagnosed with Alzheimers and may appear confused or disoriented if approached. His family are concerned for his wellbeing.

RCMP describe Baines as a 83-year-old male, 5’9” tall, 200 lb. with a bald head and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, grey undershirt, blue jeans, white hiking shoes and a green Tilly hat.

If you have seen or heard from the missing person, contact your local police.
