Vehicles were stuck and sliding on steeper roads like Columbia Street West and First Avenue, where even some buses couldn't navigate the conditions.

Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for regions across the Southern Interior on Monday, forecasting between five and 10 centimetres of snow for valley bottoms, while mountain passes could get up to 50 cm over a few days.
