Road closures during Arts on the Avenue

KELOWNA – Arts on the Avenue is back for its second year on Thursday, July 28. The event put on by Festivals Kelowna will feature a variety of art exhibitions, demonstrations and performance art installations.

The event has expanded this year and to accommodate more exhibitors, Bernard Avenue from Water Street to Ellis Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from 1 p.m. until midnight. The north-south traffic at the intersections along Bernard Avenue will remain open.

Parking will be restricted on the east side of Pandosy Street as well as along Water Street from Bernard Avenue to Lawrence Avenue starting at 11 a.m.

Parking is available at the Library Parkade on Ellis and the Chapman Parkade on Lawrence Avenue.

Transit bus #1 will be rerouted off of Bernard Avenue during the closure. Visit the B.C. Transit website for route and schedule information.
