UPDATE: Southbound lanes at Bennett bridge open again

Southbound lanes at Bennett bridge are now open and traffic is moving freely.

8:37 a.m. July 17, 2013

KELOWNA – Kelowna RCMP say a collision in the southbound lanes just south bridge is impacting traffic.

Emergency crews are on scene and both southbound lanes until the vehicle can be removed and the scene investigated. The northbound lanes are not currently affected.

One eyewitness reported what appeared to be a citizens arrest at the scene.
