QMJHL Roundup: Peter Repcik and Sam Oliver lead Voltigeurs past Phoenix 11-1

SHERBROOKE, Que. – Peter Repcik and Sam Oliver each had two goals and an assist as the Drummondville Voltigeurs routed the Sherbrooke Phoenix 11-1 on Wednesday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Lukas Landry also scored twice for Drummondville (33-10-5), while Maxime Lafond, Ethan Gauthier, Vsevolod Komarov, Luke Woodworth and Kassim Gaudet.

Goalie Riley Mercer made 30 saves for the win.

Hugo Primeau replied for Sherbrooke (23-20-5).

Goalie Jacob Brochu started for the Phoenix, was replaced in net by Mathys Routhier, then went back in net to start the third period. Brochu finished with eight saves on 14 shots. Routhier turned aside 9 of 14 shots.

Drummondville was 2 for 3 on the power play and Sherbrooke could not connect on its four man advantages.

DRAKKAR 6 WILDCATS 3

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Justin Poirier and Justin Gill had two goals apiece as the Drakkar doubled Moncton.

Julien Paillé and Raoul Boilard also chipped in for Baie-Comeau (40-8-2).

Oscar Plandowski, Thomas Auger and Miles Mueller all scored once for the Wildcats (28-13-6).
