Osoyoos man was victim in fatal motorcycle crash

KELOWNA – The man killed in a crash on Highway 3 about 4 km east of Osoyoos Monday was from the small Okanagan town.

Stanley William Beaton, 55, was alone on his motorcycle when he crashed around 6:15 p.m. on May 19.

RCMP said he veered off the highway, crashed and was thrown from his bike.

The road was bare and dry at the time.

The B.C. Coroners Service and the RCMP continue to investigate.
