Kamloops RCMP searching for mailbox theives

KAMLOOPS – The Kamloops RCMP are looking for a pair of alleged mailbox thieves.

RCMP say they were notified on July 27 that mailboxes had been pried open inside an apartment building on the 1200 block of Tranquille Road. The mail inside had been taken.

Police are looking for two suspects, according to a media release.

The first supsect is a tall, thin Caucasian male with short brown hair. At the time he was wearing a number 35 Oklahoma City Thunder basketball jersey with Durant on the back, a red hat, black shorts and white runners. He carried a black and blue backpack.

The second suspect is a Caucasian woman with long brown hair. She wore an orange top, shorts and flipflops at the time, and carried a large black purse.

Both the RCMP Police and Canada Post are investigating. Any tips about the theft can be called into the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
