PENTICTON – A section of Highway 97 in the South Okanagan will be resurfaced by a local paving company.
The Ministry of Transportation announced today, Aug. 4, the awarding of a $1.9 million contract to Peters Bros. Construction in Penticton.
The contract involves the resurfacing of 11 kilometres of Highway 97 from Duncan Avenue in Penticton to the Trout Creek bridge in Summerland.
The project is expected to begin after Labour Day and be completed by mid-November.
