Looking for a forever home; Vernon SPCA pet of the week

VERNON – Roxy is a smart pup. She can sit, shake a paw and lay down. Roxy loves her treats and her weight has started to show that. She should lose a few pounds, so a guardian that will take her on frequent walks is ideal.

She can get excited, and when she does, she can forget her manners while on a leash. The staff suggests a front clip harness or a gentle leader.

Roxy needs to be the only canine in the household. She is unsure and selective of new dogs.  A home with older children is ideal, sometimes Roxy forgets her size and strength and can knock small children over.

Roxy is a little over four years old and has been at the SPCA since July 27, 2016.

Roxy's Animal ID is 398313

Visit the Vernon and District Branch webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees, and hours of operation.
