33 Street resurfacing will cause minor delays

VERNON – City of Vernon crews and contractors will be resurfacing 33 Street from 30 Avenue to 32 Avenue starting Aug. 17.

Work includes road base repairs and asphalt resurfacing and is expected to take approximately four weeks to complete.

Although every reasonable effort will be made to minimize the disruption to traffic, motorists should be prepared for minor delays and are reminded to obey all signage and to slow down in the construction area.

Businesses within the affected area are open for business during the construction period and appreciate your continued support.
