Kamloops police nab mail theft suspect; still searching for second

KAMLOOPS – Police have arrested one of two suspects wanted in connection to a mailbox theft in Kamloops.

RCMP say a 24-year-old man was arrested on Saturday, Aug. 6 and is facing charges of theft and mischief.

He is scheduled to appear in court in October, according to a RCMP media release.

On July 27, mailboxes in a Tranquille Road apartment building were pried open and the mail was stolen.

Police say investigators have identified the female suspect and are now in the process of locating her.
