CIS Football: Nick Bynkoski throws four touchdowns as Axemen down Huskies

HALIFAX – Nick Bynkoski threw four touchdowns as the Acadia Axemen dominated the Saint Mary’s Huskies 47-9 on Friday night in Canadian Interuniversity Sport football action.

Bynkoski completed 19-of-23 passes for 262 yards with no interceptions for Acadia (4-2). He also had eight carries for 51 yards and a touchdown.

Jaylen McRae caught five passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns while Derek Wodz and Brian Jones caught the others.

Trevor Erdmann completed 13-of-27 passes for 157 yards, a touchdown and an interception for the Huskies (0-6).
