KAMLOOPS – Charges have been laid against 24-year-old man as an RCMP investigation into a string of robberies wraps up.
Justin Hodge is alleged to have committed a number of offences. He is accused of stealing a vehicle from the Salish Esso gas station June 27. He will also face the judge for allegedly injuring a security employee with a knife and pepper spraying two other people during a robbery of food items at the north shore Safeway June 28.
Hodge is charged with multiple counts of robbery, assault with a weapon and disguise with intent following a number of incidents that happened in Kamloops over the past several weeks.
Hodge has been remanded into custody and will appear in court July 23, 2013.
