First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Down 86 cents, or 9.97 per cent, to $7.77 on 8.3 million shares.
Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Up five cents, or 3.03 per cent, to $1.70 on 6.7 million shares.
Penn West Petroleum Ltd. (TSX:PWT). Oil and gas. Down seven cents, or 4.49 per cent, to $1.49 on 5.9 million shares.
OceanaGold Corp. (TSX:OGC). Miner. Up 12 cents, or 5.06 per cent, to $2.49 on 5.8 million shares.
Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Down 13 cents, or 2.11 per cent, to $6.02 on 5.1 million shares.
Trevali Mining Corp. (TSX:TV). Miner. Down three cents, or 4.55 per cent, to 63 cents on 4.8 million shares.

BlackBerry Ltd. (TSX:BB). Wireless communications. Down 24 cents, or 2.50 per cent, to $9.35 on 1.6 million shares. A former senior member of the federal public service has been named a director of BlackBerry Ltd. The smartphone company says Wayne G. Wouters will be one of the seven independent members of its board of directors. The eighth member is John Chen, the company’s chief executive and chairman of its board.
Centerra Gold Inc. (TSX:CG). Miner. Down 16 cents, or 2.07 per cent, to $7.56 on 469,049 shares. Centerra Gold has appointed a successor to its chief executive, who announced in March that he would retire by the end of this year. Scott Perry will officially take over from outgoing Centerra CEO Ian Atkinson on Nov. 1.
