The Walk, Roll or Run event in Lumby to promote public health

LUMBY – The Lumby & District Health Services Society will be kicking off Kraft Hockeyville week in Lumby.

The Walk, Roll or Run takes place on Sunday, Sept. 25 and is 1 km, 3 km and 8 km.

Funds raised will help with educational clinics such as foot care clinic, diabetes, x-ray, lap, options for sexual health program, mammograms as well with funds to help attract doctors to Lumby.

The event is to aimed at promoting healthy exercise in the community.
