
Bail for man accused of shooting rifle in Kamloops trailer park
KAMLOOPS – A Kamloops man suspected of firing a rifle in a trailer park has been released from custody.
Ezra Adair, 61, is charged with possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, using a firearm, careless storage or use of a firearm and uttering threats.
Adair was released on bail yesterday afternoon, Aug. 23.
RCMP say he was arrested in the Ord Road trailer park after allegedly firing off rifle rounds and making threats to others.
Police went to the trailer park just after 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, after receiving several 911 calls from concerned residents.
Officers recovered a rifle and four empty cartridges.
Adair is expected to be back in Kamloops Provincial Court on Sept. 12.
