
Investigation continues into Royal Bank kiosk caper
PENTICTON – Penticton RCMP and members of Royal Bank security team are investigating an incident that took place last week at the Royal Bank’s Apple Plaza branch.
RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says the ATM kiosk was broken into with cutting tools after thieves spray painted the kiosk’s video surveillance cameras, overnight Wednesday, Aug. 17.
The RCMP’s forensic identification team and Royal Bank security investigators are currently working to identify those involved.
