Blue Jays tickets for World Series sold out even though Toronto down 3-2 in ALCS

TORONTO – The Toronto Blue Jays are not yet in the World Series, but their fans are ready if they make it.

Blue Jays tickets for the World Series went on sale to the general public on Thursday morning and sold out within 45 minutes.

Toronto trails the Kansas City Royals 3-2 in the best-of-seven American League Championship series with Game 6 set for Friday night.

The New York Mets have already advanced to the World Series, sweeping the Chicago Cubs out of the National League Championship Series in four games.

The American League champions — either the Blue Jays or Royals — will have home-field advantage in the World Series, thanks to the AL’s 6-3 win over the NL at Major League Baseball’s all-star game on July 14.
