Free guided tour at the KAG

KAMLOOPS – Join us on the first Saturday of the month for a free guided tour of our exhibitions. Tours will begin at 1 p.m. in our Central Galleries and will be led by local artist and art instructor Emily Dundas Oke.

These tours are a great way to explore and engage with our exhibitions, ask questions and learn about the stories behind the art work. Where did Jerry Pethick source his materials? What is holography? Who was Konstantin Tsiolkovsky and why did Jerry Pethick make art work about him? Why is there a giant pond in The Cube? Learn the answer to these questions and more by joining us on Saturday, Sept. 3.

First Saturdays tours are free with admission and open to all ages.

Jerry Pethick: Shooting the Sun/Splitting the Pie is on view in our Central Galleries until Sept. 10.

Ryland Fortie: Chatroom Paranoia is on view in The Cube until Sept. 3.

WHAT: First Saturdays Guided Tours
