4 dead, 12 injured in Haiti as truck crashes near border
PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti – Authorities in Haiti say four people have died and a dozen injured when a truck crashed near the border with the Dominican Republic.
Justice official Pierre Reneau says that all those injured are hospitalized.
The accident occurred Monday morning in the northeast town of Ouanaminthe. Authorities say the truck was carrying merchants to the popular market of Dajabon in the Dominican Republic when it flipped over.
